| Ballinamore Man Ordained as Capuchin Priest |

On Sunday 6th December 2009, at a ceremony in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, Bishop Leo O'Reilly ordained Seán Kelly as a priest of the Capuchin Order. Fr. Seán is a native of Ballinamore and son of the late John and Rose Ann Kelly, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim. He was educated in Ballinamore Primary School and St. Felim's College. Fr. Seán joined the Capuchin Order in 2002 and is currently based in the Capuchin Friary, Church Street, Dublin. In his homily Bishop O'Reilly referred to Fr Sean's ordination as "a wonderful beacon of hope in a bleak landscape". More To visit the website of the Irish Capuchins please click here
