During the month of December parishioners thoughout Kilmore responded very generously to an appeal for funds to assist those who have been affected by the flooding in the west of Ireland. 

To date, a total of €108,964 has been collected for distribution by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Athlone for the relief of those whose homes were damaged by the recent flooding.
