Kermit Barron Gosnell is an American former abortion-provider who was convicted, among other crimes, of murdering three infants who were born alive during attempted abortion procedures.

In early 2014 filmmakers Ann McElhinney, Phelim McAleer and Magdalena Segieda produced a true crime drama film of the Gosnell crimes. They have also written a book titled, Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer. The book was released on January 24, 2017 and it quickly rose to the number three spot on Amazon’s “Best Seller” list and number one on their “Hot New Releases” list.

The producers have spoken of their difficulties in finding a major distributor who will promote the film, making it available to view in American cinemas.
