1761 Mass-house or chapel in the townland of Shancorragh.
1846 St. Osnat’s built by Fr. James Magauran.
1881 Bell tower added by Fr. Stephen McTiernan.
1915 Repairs carried out by Fr. Terence Brady.
1928 Necessary repairs carried out by Fr. Lynott funded by Mrs Teehan.
1960 Fr. Charles Cartwright went to America at his own expense on a fund raising trip to gather enough money to carry out essential maintenance work on the church. The emigrants from the area responded generously to his call and he came home with over £1,200, which was used to install electricity, central heating, new windows and repairs to roof.
1980’s Fr. Patrick Brady had major renovations done.
1989 Fr. Fintan McKiernan had further improvements made.
