As we prepare for the renewal of our Parish Pastoral Council this autumn, we continue our weekly series exploring the role, purpose and importance of the council in the life of our parish.

A LISTENING COUNCIL: One of the most important roles of the Parish Pastoral Council is listening. Listening to parishioners, to what is working well, and to where there may be needs or new opportunities. This listening helps shape the direction of parish life. In this way, the council helps ensure that decisions are grounded in the real experience of the parish community.
