Here in the Diocese of Kilmore, our parishes have been very busy hosting conversations.  These conversations are based on a series of questions about our faith into the future. The process began by Parish Pastoral Councils reflecting, discerning and giving their detailed feedback and then in turn engaging with a wide diversity of groups in the community.  There will also be an invitation issued to all parishioners to give their feedback using questionnaires at weekend masses in the coming weeks.

We are delighted with the enthusiasm and willingness of our parishes in responding so generously to the invitation issued by Bishop Martin Hayes to journey together, to listen deeply to each other and to be open to what the Holy Spirit is saying to each one of us at this time.  Your contributions, ideas and suggestions will add greatly to the Diocesan Synodality process.

As a Diocese we are very eager to hear the voices of our young people.  Our Diocesan Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Francis Keaney, together with a dedicated team have been approaching schools and youth groups to get their feedback.  The response to date has been very positive and the young people are delighted to have their contributions heard and valued.  If you would like more information or would like to make contact with Francis, you can do so by ringing the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan on 049 437 5004 ext. 103.

If you want to make an individual submission, you can do so by using the form on the website, clearly stating the name of your parish on it and posting it to Martina Gilmartin, Diocesan Director of Pastoral Development and Faith Formation, Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan H12 E5C7 or emailing it back to her at the following email address pastoralservices@kilmorediocese.ie
