Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and confrères of the late Fr Niall Greene C.S.Sp, a native of Kinawley and member of the Spiritan Community in Ardbraccan, Navan, Co. Meath, who died unexpectedly on Wednesday 10 December last.

Bishop Martin Hayes and clergy from the Diocese of Kilmore concelebrated Fr Niall’s funeral Mass in St Naile’s Church in Kinawley, after which he was laid to rest in the adjoining church grounds.

Son of the late Margaret (née Owens) and Brendan Greene, he is deeply regretted by his sisters Filicia and Petrina; his brother Terry, his brother in-laws, Brendan and Garry; extended family; friends; and his Spiritan confrères in Ireland and Brazil.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
