The Pope John Paul II Award was launched in the Diocese of Kilmore by Paul Brady, All-Ireland Handball Champion and Cavan County Football Player, in the Pastoral Centre, Cavan, on Wednesday 26th January.
Post-primary school students, teachers, principals as well as clergy, representatives of the Diocesan Pastoral Council, members of the Knights of Columbanus and Bishop Leo O’Reilly, were present for the ceremony.
