Parish Pastoral Councils – Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms

As parishes across the Diocese of Kilmore prepare for the formation of new Parish Pastoral Councils, parishioners are invited to take part in the process of discernment.

Two forms are available to assist with this process:

Nomination Form
This form may be used to recommend a parishioner as a possible candidate for membership of the Parish Pastoral Council. Before submitting a nomination, you should speak to the person you wish to nominate and ensure that they are willing to allow their name to go forward for consideration.

Expression of Interest Form
This form is for anyone who would like to express their own interest in becoming a member of the Parish Pastoral Council. It also provides an opportunity to indicate an interest in other ways of serving your parish community.

Both forms may be downloaded and printed using the links below.

Once completed, forms should be returned directly to your own parish, in accordance with the arrangements being made locally. Please check your parish newsletter or parish announcements for details of where and when forms should be returned.

We encourage all parishioners to give prayerful consideration to this important process and to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide our parishes in discerning those called to serve on our Parish Pastoral Councils.
