St. Patrick’s Church, Drumcor was built in 1809 at a cost of £150 by Rev. Michael O’Reilly PP. It was extended in 1930 and the windows were replaced with steel frames and tinted cathedral glass.

Major repairs were carried out in 1990 at a cost of £92,000.00. Philip Cullivan of Gaffney & Cullivan, Cavan was the architect and the contractor was Jim McDermott, Carrickane, Cavan. It was rededicated by Bishop Francis J. MacKiernan on 14th July 1991.
